The Russell’s Craft Reserve Pop-Up

Russell’s Reserve bourbon is launching The Russell’s Craft Reserve, a pop-up workshed in Chippendale to give guests the opportunity to create a unique item by hand and reconnect with family and friends.

The Russell’s Craft Reserve

Each artisan workshop has been specially designed to give attendees the opportunity to craft a bespoke item. During the day, consumer workshops will be hosted by winners of Channel 9’s The Block, Simon and Shannon Vos, master woodcraftsman Spoonsmith, and boutique leatherworkers Bas and Lokes, to bring to life these vanishing arts, followed by a Russell’s Reserve Masterclass. In the evening, The Russell’s Craft Reserve will be open to consumers to come along, enjoy the “backyard” and sample Russell’s Reserve  bourbon.

Choose from the following artisan workshops:

  • Shannon and Simon Vos, winners of Channel 9’s The Block. Join them to create a bespoke bar top display case for your own bottle of Russell’s Reserve.
  • Bas and Lokes, designers and makers of meticulously handcrafted leather goods. Join them and learn how to make your own handcrafted leather wallet.
  • Spoonsmith by Jeff Donne, expert in handcrafting bespoke wooden cutlery. Join this workshop to learn how to whittle and carve your own cocktail stirring spoon.

The Russell’s Craft Reserve will be located at 48 Kensington Street, Chippendale from 12 to 13 May 2017 where family and friends aged 18 years and over can take part in a range of interactive artisan craft workshops and tasting sessions.
