Against an ocean backdrop of the ocean, with bails of hay and a pop up shack, Sunshack Cider took to the greens of the Clovelly Bowling Club to launch their new range of ciders.
Sunshack Cider
Sunshack Cider is created at a family ciderhouse in Mittagong in NSW using fruit harvested from their select orchards and the finest water from their sandstone spring. Fermented cold to retain their freshness, it comes in two flavours, pears and apples.
On a Sunday afternoon, Clovelly Bowling Club took on a youthful vibe as it played host to a fun-filled party complete with music, plenty of food, with the cider flowing till late afternoon.
From the first sip of Sunshack Cider, you can taste the crispness and freshness of the apples or the pears. The cider carries a balanced acidity and a mild sweetness which makes it very easy to drink. At first, you could mistaken it for being non-alcoholic, but a few more sips and the effects of the 4.5% alcohol can be felt gradually.
Guests were also treated to a game of bowls which made for a very pleasant afternoon at the beachside suburb of Clovelly.
