The event marked the American beer’s entry into the Australian market with David Coors, Molson Coors General Manager of Australasia and Brett Vye, Chief Commercial Officer for Molson Coors International in attendance as well as key industry guests.
Coors originates from Colorado and and reflects the spirit of its Rocky Mountains. Labelled as the “world’s most refreshing beer”, it is brewed through a process that brings the beer to below freezing temperatures at various steps of brewing. Light, refreshing and easy to drink, Coors is best enjoyed icy cold to get maximum flavour. Just keep an eye on its trademark label which turns the Rocky Mountains blue when the beer has reached the right temperature.
Blue Moon Belgian White, a Witbier style of beer brewed by Coors Brewing Company was also on pour. The beer is brewed using Valencia orange peel which gives it a subtle sweetness and oats and wheat to create a creamy finish.
Coors is distributed by Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA) and is now available in Australia for $46.99 RRP a case.
