Australian Beer Festival at Australian Heritage Hotel

The Annual Australian Beer Festival is back this week, celebrating its 10th anniversary at the original home of craft beer, The Australian Heritage Hotel in The Rocks. Running from Friday 17-19 October 2014, over 130 Australian beers and ciders will be on taste. You can expect a beer garden, blind tastings, Meet The Brewer sessions and live entertainment.

28 brewer stalls will line Cumberland and Gloucester streets and there will be food stalls offering a selection of nibbles including the pub’s famous range of pizzas (kangaroo and emu pizza), an Aussie gourmet BBQ, oyster shucking station and a whole pig on a spit.

Among the activities and tastings, the annual Home Brew Championship winner will be announced at 5pm on Friday 17 October.

Entry to the festival is free and tasting cups are $5. Tasting tickets are $25 for 10 and can be purchased at the door.
