Australian Bartenders Guild’s Cocktail Championship 2014

The Australian Bartenders Guild (ABG) held its annual National Cocktail Competition on Sunday 26 May 2014 at the Shark Hotel in Sydney.

Bartenders competed in the Classic Cocktail and Flair categories with Brendon James Hill from Sydney taking out the classic cocktail competition and Clinton Weir from Melbourne winning out the flair championship.

Judging the Classic Cocktail category were Stuart Reeves (Brown Forman), Stuart “Chewy” Morrow (The Baxter Inn) and Corinne Mossati (Gourmantic).

The Australian Bartenders Guild is a non-profit, non-union organisation with membership drawn from throughout Australia which is is recognised by and affiliated with the International Bartenders Association (IBA).

The winners will be going to South Africa to compete in the global competition.
