Asahi Super Dry beer is served chilled to the ideal temperature below 2 degrees which allows it to maintain its carbonation for longer and makes the drink more refreshing on the palate. The pop up also serves Asahi Super Dry Black Extra Cold, brewed from yeast, malt, hops, maize and rice. Unlike many dark beers, it is medium-bodied on the palate but remains refreshing, with notes of malt and a dry aftertaste. Both brews are set to become a popular choice on hot summer evenings.
Both brews go down well with a host of bar food prepared in collaboration with the Corner House in Bondi. Top picks include the irresistible Pop Corn Shrimp with Chipotle Mayo ($11), spicy finger-licking Hot Wings ($12), Mac and Cheese Balls ($9) and the Pulled Pork Burger with housemade BBQ sauce ($12), sticky and sweet in a soft bun.
With summer just around the corner, the Asahi Super Dry Extra Cold Bar is set to be a hotspot for after work drinks and catching up with friends.
Asahi Super Dry Extra Cold Bar opens on Friday 24 October and runs until Friday 23rd January 2015.
