Vogue Fashion’s Night Out (VFNO) was held last night in Sydney, a global Vogue initiative with a one-night shopping extravaganza with exclusive one-off events with official partners, Ultimat Vodka & Patrón Tequila.
VIP guests enjoyed champagne Moët et Chandon and canapes at Metro St James in Hyde Park before the event was officially launched in the park. Lord Mayor of Sydney, Clover Moore and Edwina McCann, Editor of Vogue launched the event at the VIP area in Hyde Park before Danish artist, Oh Land gave a live performance.
The event kicked on for VIPs at The Social Party, located on Level 7 of David Jones. What was once home to women’s luxury fashions at the iconic department store was transformed into a pop up bar by Pelicano of Double Bay, with Mediterranean blue and white accents. The bar served delicious Patrón Tequila Lemon Granita, a frozen cocktail served in a Patron jam jar, and Ultimat Vodka Pelicano Martini, a sweet passionfruit cocktail with vodka, pomegranate syrup and fresh mint.
Trolley’d, a mobile cocktail bar service by Christopher Thomas and Byron Woolfrey served a tasty Ultimat Vodka cocktail on their trademark recycled Ansett airline trolleys.
Megan Gale, David Jones Brand Ambassador attended The Social Party which hosted live interviews and fashion blogging. Guests had the opportunity to have a make-up session by Yves Saint Laurent cosmetics then have their photo taken by a professional photographer.
