Turandot, Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour

Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour is back this year with Puccini’s Turandot, the story of a powerful princess in the Forbidden City in Beijing, who challenges her many suitors to answer three riddles on pain of death. Puccini’s work was unfinished at the time of his death and it was left to his student Franco Alfano to complete it.
