Cargo Bar: Keystone Summer Festival

Rain, hail or shine, the party was going ahead.

At the newly-refurbished Cargo Lounge, the Keystone Group launched the Keystone Summer Festival with a summer-themed party.

Guests were welcomed at the harbour side venue with a summer-inspired cocktail made with Bundaberg Five Rum, mango, caramel syrup and bitters.

Sporting a brighter new look with a bold blue awning over the bar, the venue has taken on a Mediterranean feel with bartenders and wait staff dressed in sailor garb for the event.

Cocktails and Batlow Cider

Kicking off at 5 pm and partying till late, guests were treated to complimentary drinks with Smirnoff Vodka, Batlow Cider and Pure Blonde beer on tap. The Cargo Bar served a selection of tasty bites including duck pancakes, hand-rolled sushi and chicken on skewers with satay sauce.

The new-look Cargo Lounge

The Cargo Bar/Lounge is part of the Keystone Group venues which include the Gazebo, The Winery, TheLoft and Manly Wine which recently hosted the Moët Ice Imperial white party.

The Keystone Group has patterned with the Sydney Festival for the Keystone Festival Bar at Hyde Park Barracks. The event which runs during January 2012 will bring 14 nights of music, with an eclectic line-up of live bands and DJs.

Now all that Sydney needs is a real summer!
