The Cove at the House: Pop-up Bar at the Opera House

Wander up from El Loco at the House to the Podium Level of the Sydney Opera House, and you’re in another world.  The Cove at the House transports you to another era of glamour, elegance and romance.

The champagne and cocktail bar is another summertime pop-up from Merivale, a spectacular venue with unparalleled views over the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

The temporary bar is ideal for a beverage as the sun goes down or for post theatre drinks. Lounge on daybeds sipping champagne as you gaze at the twinkling lights of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Enjoy a Harry’s Bar Bellini ($14) under the white canopy complete with bronze statues, and you could be sitting under a majlis-style tent in Dubai. Or choose from a selection of wines selected by Merivale head sommelier, Franck Moreau, as you nibble on, or feed one another fresh figs, prosciutto with goats curd and rocket ($18).
