The Butler in Potts Point is hosting Cheese Whiskey and Wine Wednesdays which will be running every week throughout winter at the firelit upstairs bar Juanita’s.
Starting from 18th July, every Wednesday, a selection of whisk(e)y’s from around the world is available for guests to choose from and pair with a cheese tasting board.
The selection includes:
- Hakushu Distiller Reserve – Japan
- Auchentoshan 12yo – Scotland
- Laphroaig Select Cask – Scotland
- The Tyrconnel – Ireland
- Bowmore 12yo – Scotland
Alternatively, a selection of red wines is available as follows:
- Kate Hill Pinot Noir, Coal River, Tasmania
- BK Grenache, Blewitt Springs SA
- Baroni Di Pianogrillo Nero D’Avola-Frappato, Sicily, IT
- La Petite Mort ‘Amphora’ Shiraz-Viognier, Granite Belt, QLD
- Howard Park ‘Leston’ Cabernet Sauvignon, Margaret River, WA
The Butler Cheese Whiskey and Wine costs $50 for two people and includes a cheese board with a selection of cheeses and your choice of whisk(e)y or wine.
