Taste of Coogee Food & Wine Festival

The inaugural Taste of Coogee, a Food and Wine Tasting Festival is coming to Coogee Beach on Sunday November 3rd 2013. Located on the parkland at Goldstein Reserve, at the north end of the beach, the day event offers locals and visitors the opportunity to taste food by local businesses, sample some wine and beer from a micro brewery.

You can expect cooking demonstrations with Mindy Wood of Masterchef, live entertainment and food tours to local restaurants. Wrist bands and tasting cups will be issued for wine tasting at $15 for 3 tastings and RSA will be ensured as this is a family-friendly event. All profits from the festival will go towards supporting Caretaker’s Cottage, a not for profit charity providing accommodation and support to homeless children and young people in Sydney.
