In March 2017, Southern Comfort will bring the full New Orleans experience to Sydney at Smokey’s Cabin with Nola favourite food, signature drinks and The Carnival’s live entertainment line-up of Southern American styles of jazz, swing, blues and funk.
Held at Smokey’s Cabin Upstairs of Surly’s, from 15 to 25 March, enjoy Southern delights including Oysters Rockefeller, Po’boy Sandwich and Creole Smoked Chicken Maryland. A selection of Southern cocktails include the Southern Comfort Fizz, Southern Sazerac and Southern Hurricane will also be available as country & blues outfit The Sweet Jelly Rolls, alt country rock & roll sounds of Papa Pilko & The Bin Rats and singer-songwriter Skyscraper Stan & The Commission Flats provide entertainment.
Melbourne will also be holding a Carnival from Wednesday 1 – Saturday 11 March, 2017 at Huey Long’s in Fitzroy from 6pm each night.
