Snow Australia Launch Party at the Bucket List

Snow Australia launched their 2012 campaign with “Make this a winter for firsts…” at the Bucket List in Bondi.

The venue was chosen to match the message which encourages first-timers and regular skiers to tick a snow break off their 2012 “bucket list”.

Beau Walker

Renowned professional surfer and television host, Beau Walker hosted the event and introduced Campaign Director, Nigel Abbott who relayed experiences of his first time and introduced the Snow Australia website, a collaboration with nine snowfields and resorts. The one-stop website for all things to do with snow includes the nine resorts Charlotte Pass, Perisher, Selwyn Snowfields, Thredbo, Falls Creek, Hotham, Lake Mountain, Mt Baw Baw and Mt Buller.

Guests were treated to Jagermeister drinks with ginger beer and lime on arrival. Two Italian Boys red and white wine flowed throughout the evening while Vodka-infused snow cones added to the theme. Tasty canapés included beef sliders, fish cakes and toasted pita bread with fig and dukkah.

Several known figures were in attendance including Bondi Rescue’s Maxi & Hoppo, Channel [V]’s Danny Clayton & Carissa Walford, Chloe & Mat Rogers and their children and AFL/dancing star Brendan Fevola.

Whether it’s the slopes, the apres-ski or both, with the Australian snow season officially starting in three weeks, everyone can embrace their first time.

The Snow Australia launch was held on Thursday 17th May from at The Bucket List, Bondi Pavilion, Bondi Beach.
