Hidden away from the main drag on Bourke Street, you’ll find Peekaboo Bar, an intimate bar in Woolloomooloo.
With a raw look and stripped back fitout featuring bare light bulbs, exposed sandstone walls and a mural depicting movie classics and iconic figures, Peekaboo Bar offers a cosy hideaway in the inner city.

You’ll find cocktails based on classics, a selection of local and international wines by the glass and a range of craft beers. The Boops Ride cocktail, a mix of Cognac, Cointreau and watermelon juice makes for easy sipping while The Cheshire, made with Gin, Aperol, topped with mint and grapefruit granita hits the sweet spot with the addition of honey water.
If you’re peckish, soft tacos are on the menu as well as cured meats and more substantial dishes such as five spiced pork belly on cauliflower puree.
Once a month, Sunday Bloody Sundays combines live music from 5pm, Bloody Mary’s, jugs of Pimms to wash down Buffalo wings, cheesy fries and mini dogs.
