An epic month for Parched March came to a close with a total $20,000 raised for Animal Welfare League NSW, double the amount of the previous year.
Amy Cooper, founder of Parched March in 2010, announced the figure at an entertaining soirée held at the Bucket List in Bondi Beach.
Parched March Doggie Awards
For the first year, Parched March DOGGIE awards were presented to Sydney bars with the winner of the Best in Show going to the Keystone Group for their overall contribution.

Guests were greeted with ABSOLUT Elyx vodka straight up on freshly-chipped ice and dog-named cocktails such as the Mexican Chihuahua and the Rottweiler were served throughout the night. “She is the King”, aka Jacqueline Feilich, put on a stunning performance as the only female Elvis tribute artist to be endorsed by the Elvis estate.
