Hendrick’s Gin has unveiled its Unusually Australian Cucumber at an elegant soiree held at Sydney’s Elizabeth Bay House.
Earlier in the year, Hendrick’s Gin embarked on a horticultural quest to create and cultivate a world-first Australian cucumber. The cucumber was described as “nurtured by social media and grown in an environment composed of this country’s most iconic ingredients. After much voting and submissions, the Unusually Australian Cucumber was officially grown with Emu Poop, Yabby Shells and Simpson Desert Soil.
Morgan Flanagan, Hendrick’s Gin Brand Ambassador sourced the ingredients and delivered them to the specially designed Hendrick’s Greenhouse to be cultivated.
The launch event was in true, quirky Hendrick’s Gin style with a Cucumber Carver, Tea Leaf Reader, Cucumber Hand Massages and tasty Hendrick’s Gin libations with native Australian flavours. Check out the photo gallery on our Facebook page.
