Glenfiddich has teamed up with chef Matt Moran for the launch of the Glenfiddich Whisky Wanderer, a unique luxury whisky lounge on wheel.
The Glenfiddich Whisky Wanderer Bus is an original 1972 vintage Leyland two storey bus over four metres tall and 10 metres long, reconstructed with a high-class premium bar, hydraulic pop-up roof and copper stag head. The luxury bus will be on a journey around Australia where whisky lovers can learn about the single malt and taste the various expressions.
Celebrating maverick tendencies, the Glenfiddich Whisky Wanderer will start at the Good Food & Wine Show in Melbourne, the bus will then travel on to Sydney and Brisbane for the shows, with additional stops along the way. With intimate spirit tastings and food pairings, the sessions will offer an introduction for those beginning their whisky journey, and something new for whisky enthusiasts.
Attendees can learn the fundamentals of whisky and taste a range of malts including Glenfiddich 12 Year Old, Glenfiddich 15 Year Old Solera Vat, right through to the Glenfiddich Experimental Series. They will also have the opportunity to create the perfect gift with their very own personalised bottle of Glenfiddich be it Glenfiddich 12 Year Old, Glenfiddich 15 Year Old, Glenfiddich 18 Year Old, Glenfiddich 21 Year Old, and Glenfiddich Experimental Series IPA Experiment and Project XX.
Glenfiddich Brand Ambassador, Luke Sanderson will be embarking on an epic three-year journey with the Whisky Wanderer, travelling more than 9,000km across the country to share his whisky expertise. He will be joined on tour by chef Matt Moran offering guests whisky and food pairings.
