The Conservatory Bar at Sheraton on the Park is an elegant space overlooking Hyde Park. Situated on level one of the hotel, it offers an ideal location for a quiet drink and a retreat from the bustle of the city.

Cosy tall booths and intimate tables by the outdooor terrace make for relaxed sipping while listening to smooth piano and jazz tunes on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

As part of the Bar Hop series during Good Food Month, the Conservatory Bar is offering a special cocktail and canapé ($20) that makes a great start to the evening.

The Green Bicycle

The Green Bicycle is a Sheraton signature cocktail. Tanqueray gin, elderflower liqueur, muddled cucumbers, apple juice and mint are mixed together and served in Tanqueray Copa Glasses with a side of steamed and salted edamame beans.

The cocktail is refreshing and easy to drink with the subtle flavour of the gin on the front palate and finishing with the sweetness of the elderflower with the cool, crisp cucumber.

Burnt Orange Negroni  and Martini

From the classic cocktails, the Burnt Orange Negroni ($19) hits the right spot, strong and boozy with gin, campari, vermouth and burnt orange liqueur which gives it that extra flavour. Should you wish to order off the menu, you can create your own such as dry gin Martini.

Spiced capsicum, hummous and moutabel dips

If you’re feeling peckish, the spiced capsicum, hummous, and moutabel dips with toasted Turkish bread ($22) is a good choice to share. Bar food also offers more substantial meals from a selection of mezze to antipasti, Asian flavours and pizza.

The Conservatory Bar also offers a solid wine list and a modest range of spirits. Cigar aficionados can choose from over ten cigars ranging from Cohiba Club ($8) to Cohiba Siglo II A/T ($50) and enjoy them on the balcony of the bar overlooking Hyde Park.

The Green Bicycle Bar Hop special is available daily Good Food Month during (October 1 to 31, 2013) from 6:00pm to 12:00am.
