A touch of Ibiza came to Sydney last night with the launch of the much-anticipated Café del Mar. The Mediterranean chic soirée was held at the venue’s Rooftop Terrace in Cockle Bay with the sun setting over Darling Harbour.

Champagne and cocktails flowed like the vibrant floaty dresses worn by guests and VIPs. Delicious canapés were served right through the night, from freshly-shucked oysters to a sorbet with a tequila shot. Unlike its European counterparts, Café del Mar in Sydney will have a food focus. With Miguel Maestre as Food Director and Ben Fitton as Head Chef, you can expect tasty Mediterranean-inspired cuisine with a menu that changes from lunch to dinner.
Café del Mar officially opens on Monday 18th November 2013.
