Celebrate the Archibald Prize 2019 at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth

Known for its partnership with the Archibald Prize, Sofitel Sydney Wentworth has partnered with another Archie, Sydney distillery Archie Rose to celebrate Australia’s renowned art event.

Two art-inspired cocktails are available in Soiree Bar. The Archiebald features Archie Rose Signature Dry Gin, dry sherry, soda with a lemon twist; an ideal start to the Archibald Prize experience. The Lindy Lee combines Archie Rose White Rye with sencha tea syrup, lemon juice and apple juice.

Dine Like a Parisian at Garden Court Restaurant

Dine like a Parisian in the European style surrounds of Garden Court Restaurant and allow French Native Executive Chef, Boris Cuzon, and his team to present their newly launched French-inspired Winter delights as part of the dinner a-la-carte selection. Here’s a snapshot of the menu:

Archibald High tea

The hotel is offering its popular Archibald High Tea in the Hotel’s Tea Lounge. The art-inspired High Tea showcases the culinary and artistic skills of Executive Chef Boris Cuzon and his pastry team featuring a contemporary black & white creation of sesame and coconut macaron, panna cotta and black pearls, truffle & goat cheese in a black bun and smoked salmon, avocado, crème fraiche, caviar in a charcoal cone. Priced from $75 per person, the offer also features one ticket to the Archibald Prize 2019 at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.

Guests who stay at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth receive two tickets to the 2019 Archibald Prize exhibition at the Art Gallery of New South Wales and two Archie Rose cocktails, served in Soiree Bar. Priced at $333 per night guests stay in a newly refurbished Superior Room and indulge in a French Café Gourmand and a French in room breakfast.
