Located along the leafy Kellet Street, the new bar’s interior has been taken back to highlight the 18th century origins of the building and the experience can be had by taking up residence in one of the booths or sitting al fresco.

A collection of over 120 gins from around the globe and a cocktail list from Grant Collins (Zeta Bar, Sydney; Ku De Ta and Potato Head, Bali) teaming up with James Young (Buzo, Wine Library) make the Powder Keg a bar to be included for the gin enthusiast.

The food menu is prepared by head chef Elijah Holland, along with chefs Danny Russo and Roy Ner who draw inspiration from 17th century taverns and gin palaces. They have created little bites such as oysters with gin and tonic sorbet and BBQ pin wheeled Cumberland sausage.
