A Look Inside: Willie the Boatman St Peters

Willie the Boatman is Nick Newey and Pat McInerney’s Craft Brewery located in St Peters. As with many an idea, it was a home brewing passion for these two that took hold of them and led to the founding of the brewery in its industrial feel home in an old factory. With plenty of taste testing to make sure that the flavours of the brews were telling the story they wanted, the brewery opened with a tasting room for good times and good ales.

So, settle yourself in to taste your way through a selection that includes The Albo Corn Ale, an American Lager named after the local sitting Member down in the nations capital. Then there is the Black Bunny with four different dark malts plus coffee and chocolate malts. Nick and Pat also salute their friends and local identities with brews named after them but what sums up Willie the Boatman best is its Marrickville Lager, a salute to the diversity of its home.
