The Pyrmont Festival will return from 20 September – 6 October 2019 for seventeen packed days of mouth-watering food, fine wine, as well as local arts and culture. The festival is headlined by a two-day family-friendly event at Pirrama Park overlooking Sydney Harbour on 28-29 September from 11am – 5pm, one of the biggest free outdoor food and wine festival in Sydney.

The Festival has partnered with Orange NSW to showcase the finest cool-climate wines from the region – Australia’s only wine region defined by its altitude, and home to over 30 cellar doors and more than 80 vineyards. There’s a craft beer garden, live entertainment from local talent and activities to keep children busy.

“This food and wine festival is an exciting celebration of the close relationship between city and country. We are excited to showcase the Orange region and what it has to offer, and hope festival attendees will further explore the region at the Orange Wine Festival, running 18-27 October,” said Orange360 General Manager Caddie Marshall.

The seventeen day program will also include wine tastings and special dinner events by some of Pyrmont’s most popular restaurants. The full program to be announced soon.

Last year’s Pyrmont Festival headline event saw 20,000 locals, families, tourists, connoisseurs, and celebrities coming together to enjoy wine tasting, fine foods, art, children’s entertainment, rides and an all-day program of live music with local artists over two days.
