Patrón Tequila has partnered with the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA) to bring the Patrón Pop Up to Sydney from 31st October 2019 until 16th February 2020.
Located at the front of one of Australia’s most spectacular and iconic sites on the edge of Sydney Harbour, the Patrón Pop Up at the MCA will offer an experience brought to life through the creation of cocktails, rich in craft and story, a world inspired by the art of magical realism that is interpreted by designers, creatives and bartenders.
“Patrón Tequila represents the seamless balance between craftmanship and refinement. The Patrón Pop Up is the first of its kind in Australia and will bring to life unique experiences, transporting consumers to a journey of tequila making perfection from unaged icons such as Patrón Silver to aged expressions rested in French, Hungarian and American oak such as Patrón Reposado and Patrón Añejo.” Says Andres Valderrama, Patrón Tequila Marketing Manager, Bacardi Martini Australia.
The Patrón Pop Up at the MCA is set to be the most memorable pop-up bar of the summer with an array of exciting activations over the course of 16 weeks including a range of signature cocktails, sharable jugs, DJ sets, bottle art Sunday’s, VR experiences and more exclusive offers for tequila lovers to be announced in the coming weeks.
The partnership with the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia is a natural fit for Patrón Tequila as the brand launches its global activation, ‘The Art of Patrón’ in Australia which aims to broadcast the masterpiece inside every bottle. Patrón Tequila is a proud Supporting Exhibition Partner of the Sydney International Art Series in 2019 – 2020, which will be presenting a major retrospective of renowned British artist, Cornelia Parker OBE, opening to the public on November 8th. Cornelia Parker is well known for her transformation of everyday objects in unexpected, surprising ways.
The Patrón Pop Up will be open to the public from Thursday 31st October every Wednesday to Sunday between 4 – 10pm until Sunday 16th February 2020. More info here.
