Since its inception, 2,503 Keepers of the Quaich inducted from over 100 countries. The Society’s name is derived from the two handled drinking vessel described in Gaelic as a ‘cuach’ or quaich, which has a long association with friendship and the drinking of Scotch whisky.
To celebrate their induction, an intimate celebration was held at Eau de Vie in Sydney with members of the Keepers of the Quaich in attendance including Master of the Quaich, Gordon Roderick. Throughout the evening, Ben and Sven regaled guests with stories from their journey in the lead up to the ceremony in Blair Castle, punctuated by tastings of some exclusive drams such as The Glenlivet Nadurra Peated Cask Strength, The Glenliver 16 yo Single Cask, Longmorn 16 yo, Aberlour 18 yo and finishing with a toast of Chivas Regal 25 yo.
