Hendrick’s 40 Meter Long Cucumber Lost at Sea

The Unusual Times by Hendrick’s Gin has announced that a giant cucumber mysteriously disappeared from Sydney Harbour and is offering a reward of a lifetime of Hendrick’s Gin and cucumbers.

Hendrick’s 40 Meter Long Cucumber

Hendrick’s Gin has launched a 40-metre-long, 8-metre-high and 25-metre-wide cucumber across Sydney Harbour for its maiden voyage. Unfortunately while in transit, the enormous cuke disappeared and is now missing. Lost at sea. Hendrick’s have now registered it as a Missing Cucumber.

Hendrick’s Gin have released the below appeal to have their beloved cucumber returned, with a generous reward for anyone able to locate it.

“We are deeply concerned about the whereabouts of our cucumber which mysteriously disappeared yesterday in Sydney Harbour. We are desperate to reunite the cuke with our beloved Hendrick’s Gin. The cucumber is 40 metres long, 8 metres high and 8 metres wide and is the largest cucumber in the world. The cucumber and our gin are the perfect pairing so we’d be extremely grateful for anyone that could help us in our search to reunite them.

For any information that leads to the discovery of our beloved Cuke, we’re offering a reward: a lifetime of Hendrick’s Gin (to be enjoyed responsibly of course) along with a lifetime supply of cucumbers. Because one cannot exist without the other.”

To assist in the search, they have launched ‘Cucumber Currency’ a gin exchange platform in which consumers can swap a cucumber for a free gin and tonic this weekend down at participating venues in Darling Harbour.

  • Helm Bar
  • The Port Darling Harbour
  • Tokio Hotel, Cockle Bay Wharf
  • Bluefish
  • Blackbird
  • The Watershed Hotel
  • Planar
  • Baia The Italian

Cucumbers are accepted as currency from 11.30 am till late at the above venues until Saturday 23 March 2019. Each cucumber entitles the holder to one Hendrick’s Gin and tonic.
