ACME’s drop down dynamite light fittings may lead you to believe that Road Runner is likely to beep-beep into Rushcutters Bay’s latest restaurant but the name is the acronym of partners Andy Emerson (The Passage), Cam Fairbairn (The Passage, Pinbone), Mitch Orr (Duke Bistro, 121 BC) and Ed Loveday (The Passage).
ACME, Rushcutters Bay
The menu by Head Chef Mitch Orr is designed around share plates and features snacks to start and innovative pasta dishes as mains with prices capped below $25. Must-try dishes include the Baloney Sandwich, Squid ink strozzapreti, octopus, chrysanthemum and the Macaroni, pigs head and egg yolk.
