World Class Australia NSW State Final was held at the Gilt Lounge at QT Hotel in Sydney with twelve bartenders competing in four categories.
Hosted by Simon McGoram, Reserve Brand Ambassador NSW, competitors prepared their cocktails for the judges before the winners were announced in front of invited guests.

Rodrigo Vega of Low 302 Bar won with Golden Century Fizz in the East Meets West – Ketel One Citroen vodka, Ben Blair of the Corner House (Don Julio Reposado) with Sir Veza, in the Tropical Cocktail – Don Julio Reposado category, Luke Ashton of Vasco with The “Golden Years” Fizz, in the Johnnie Walker Gold Celebration Cocktail category, and Mischa Bonova of Rockpool Bar and Grill with Johnston’s Revenge in the Gentleman’s Cocktail – Bundaberg Dark Oak Rum category.
The NSW finalists will join other state finalists at the Noosa International Food & Wine Festival on May 17 for the next round of the competition.
