With Sydney putting on winter blue skies, crowds converged at the historic Rocks area for the annual Aroma Festival. Stalls showcasing coffee, tea, chocolate and food attracted a massive crowd with long and slow-moving queues. The four quarters of the globe were represented at The Orient, The Continent, The Latin Quarter and The Oasis with an entertainment program.
Unlike last year’s Aroma Festival, there were no camel rides around Sydney Harbour or coffee art depicting popular images such as Marilyn Monroe. Highlights of this year included tango dancing at the Latin Quarter, Can Can dancers at the Continent and Whirling Dervishes at the Oasis, where people lounged on cushions to watch the entertainment.

Yep, they all dress like that in Turkey. 😉 Looks like a good fun day out. Did nobody read your future in your coffee dregs?

Of course they do… 😉 They had a guy who was doing it but I didn’t hang around. I think I saw a muddy future with a clear horizon in that coffee sludge 😛
