Maker’s Mark Old Fashioned Week

Maker’s Mark bourbon has launched Old Fashioned Week last night at Earl’s Juke Joint in Newtown. Running from May 12 to May 20, the week long celebration coincides with Sydney Fashion Week.

The bars participating in the event will offer their own take on the old fashioned cocktail so you can expect a variety of riffs on the classic.

Here’s where to drink a Maker’s Mark old fashioned during Old Fashioned Week: The Commons, Earl’s Juke Joint, Papa Gede’s, Ramblin’ Rascal Tavern, Riley St Garage, The Roosevelt, Shirt Bar, Soda Factory, Stitch Bar, The Village Inn, The Whisky Room at The Clock Hotel and The Wild Rover.

In addition to cocktails, The Wild Rover in Surry Hills is hosting True Maker’s’ workshop on the 18th where guests can get tips from handcrafters such as artist Anthony Lister and surfboard shaper Simon Anderson.
