Andy Griffiths Wins Chartreuse Chevalier 2014

The Australian Final of the Chartreuse Chevalier bartender competition for 2014 was held last night at The Hazy Rose in Darlinghurst with Andy Griffiths of The Rum Diary bar in Victoria winning prestigious title.

Ben Blair of The Crossing in NSW came in second place. Other finalists in the competition were Yoshi Onishi (The Victoria Room, NSW), Ed Quatermass (Papa Jacks, QLD) and Brendan Gray (Mechanics Institute, WA).

The drinks were judged by Luke Hanzlicek (2013 Chevalier winner), James Connolly, Justine Millsom, Pez Collyer and Wizey Baleitavuki.

Andy Griffiths is awarded the title of the 2501st Chevalier in the world and will be travelling to France to the home of Chartreuse.
