Stoli Vodka Casting Call Launch

The Stolichnaya Global Casting Call launch party was recently held at The Back Room in Potts Point. The themed evening with space age cocktails was to kick off a competition that rewards creativity and originality in Stoli fans and innovative thinkers.

Setting the scene were Playboy bunnies greeting guests at the door as the winner of the competition will be flown to LA to visit the Playboy Mansion and taken to the Earth’s outer atmosphere to experience zero gravity.

For the occasion, official Stoli bartender Luke Ashton, created a new cocktail, the Stoli Supernova, combining chilled Stoli Original vodka, Mozart Dry (a chocolate spirit), with gellan to create a fluid gel, and then poured cold Cherry Tea Mix over a large Ice Globe.

The effect is that of suspended red drops and swirls through the clear liquid with a nod to the illusion of weightlessness once the red drops float throughout the drink.
