Updated: On Friday 20 October 2017, Global Champagne Day, Moët & Chandon, in partnership with Vintage Cellars, broke the Guinness World Records title for the Largest Champagne tasting at the Sydney Opera House on its 44th birthday with 715 people in attendance.

Breaking the previous record set by Sweden with 696 participants in 2015, Moët & Chandon, Vintage Cellars and the 715 guests joined internationally recognised authority on champagne, Tyson Stelzer and media personality Lisa Wilkinson at Sydney Opera House as they guided guests through a bespoke tasting of Moët & Chandon’s greatest champagnes – starting with Moët & Chandon Imperial, Rosé Imperial and Grand Vintage 2008. Guests were treated to a Mini Moët on arrival and canapés that were served to complement the champagne.

On Friday 20th October 2017, Moët & Chandon will join with Vintage Cellars and more than 700 guests to toast World Champagne Day at the Sydney Opera House in an official attempt to set a new record for the World’s Largest Champagne tasting.
Held at one of Australia’s most iconic locations, guests are invited to join internationally recognised authority on champagne Tyson Stelzer and media personality Lisa Wilkinson as they guide guests through a tasting of Moët & Chandon’s greatest champagnes – including Moët & Chandon Imperial, Rosé Imperial and Grand Vintage 2008. Guests will also enjoy an array of canapés served to compliment the champagne.
The tasting will finish with a grand group Mini Moët toast, with Guinness World Record officials on hand to confirm a new mark for the World’s Largest Champagne Tasting.
Vintage Cellars, the exclusive retail partner for this event will be gifting all guests in attendance a Vintage Cellars voucher to spend on the Moët & Chandon range in store.
