The Park by Pelicano Pop-Up, Centennial Park

Pelicano of Double Bay and The Island have teamed up to bring to Sydney an outdoor pop-up venue, The Park, at Centennial Park in Sydney.

Running for six weeks, you’ll find The Park on the lawns of the Superintendents Residence in Centennial Park beside the Paddington Gates near Oxford Street.

A white picket fence surrounds the space with gleaming white parasols and white outdoor furniture with tables adorned with whole pumpkins and herb pots. The space has a country barn feel to it with piles of haystack doubling as counter for ordering food. A “yummy little piggy” rotisserie stands to the side but was covered in foil at the time of visit.

Live music contributes to the relaxed atmosphere during the day but the fairy lights around the bars give an indication that the place comes alive as the sun sets.

The Park by Pelicano Pop-Up runs for six weeks and is open from 12pm – 10pm Wednesday through to Sunday until 2 June 2013.
