The Eight, Sydney’s largest Chinese restaurant, has put on a spectacular media event presenting 120 Yum Cha Dishes in 120 Minutes.
A long red cloth-covered table showcased all 120 dishes, tempting the eye and the palate with an array of delicious food from the savoury to the sweet.

In Chinese tradition, “The Eight”, symbolises “Prosperity and Good Luck”, a sign that can be throughout the restaurant. Owned by Henry Tang and forming part of the Zilver Restaurant Group, The Eight serves a modern fusion and traditional Chinese cuisine with a focus on live seafood.
By evening, you’ll find an a la carte dinner with over 80 menu options. By daytime, over 120 Yum Cha varieties are served starting from $2.90 a dish.
Yum Cha Dishes: Middle – Steamed Green Tea Fondant
You’ll find steamed and fried dim sims, a range dumplings with many vegetarian options, seafood rolls, roast pork, pan fried radish cake, deep fried salt and pepper spanner crab, chicken feet and deep fried scallop pie. The Steamed Green Tea Fondant is a must-have, a soft green dumpling which oozes with the delicious flavour of green tea.
With such a vast range of delicious yum cha dishes on offer, one visit to the The Eight will lead to another.
