The Cidery Bar & Kitchen, Rydges World Square Sydney

The Cidery Bar & Kitchen has relaunched last night at Rydges World Square. The new launch is a rebrand in line with the Sydney Brewery’s cider production facilities beneath the venue.

With Sydney Cider being produced at the premises below the bar, the venue is set to showcase it along with the Sydney Brewery range on tap. Here you’ll find Surry Hills Pils, Paddo Ale, Potts Point Porter and the new Lovedale Lager, major trophy winner of the Australian International Beer Awards 2014.

The rebranding forms the first phase of the transformation with more refurbishment to follow.

The Cidery Bar & Kitchen serves a solid list of cocktails, local and international wines with several by the glass as well as bottled beer and a range of cider. From the food menu, Small Bites include tasty garlic prawns, chorizo with black eyed beans, baccala with aioli and salt and pepper squid. Pulled pork and slaw sliders were a crowd pleaser along with wood fired pizzas.

The Cidery Bar & Kitchen is located on the lobby level of Rydges World Square and can also be accessed up the steps from the centre of World Square shopping mall. The area is already a hub attracting locals and visitors and with Din Tai Fung a few steps away from the bar and Neil Perry’s burger joint opening at there in late October, be prepared for queues to start forming.

The Cidery Bar & Kitchen relaunch was held on Thursday 21 August 2014.
