The Birdcage Sydney by Whirly Bird: Vintage Burlesque Show & Dinner

The Birdcage Sydney by Whirly Bird is set to come alive in April in collaboration with WB Productions, an award-winning production company specialising in glamour and burlesque for a glamorous dinner and show experience. 

The Birdcage Sydney

The sultry spectacular showcases an array of amorous live performances by exceptional worldly artists, flaunting a breathtakingly eye-catching evening for all. The striking showgirls shall present a variety of acts with the inclusion of a few house favourites; the Famous Feather Fan Dance, Champagne Glass Act, Lyra and Pole Artistry. The unique form of vintage burlesque highlights the glamour and glitz of the beloved era that was the 1920’s. Think feathers flouncing, razzle dazzle, sequins sparkling and drinks flowing.

The beverage menu will focus on all things supple and dry, including varietals of both Champagne and gin. Guests are greeted on arrival with Mumm Champagne’s latest release ‘Grand Cordon’. Continue the lively evening with your choice of gin creation from the bespoke menu such as a dirty martini. Follow it with the 3-course banquet starting with salumi, pickled vegetables, parfait and mozzarella and saffron risotto balls. The mains include slow roast duck leg or apple and fennel stuffed pork while dessert is a Cointreau-filled soft centred chocolate fondant and a rum & banana semifreddo. If you’re more of a savoury person, a cheese board will also be available.

The Birdcage Sydney is dinner and a show for grown ups, promoting a glamorous entertainment filled evening, offering an alternate to the traditional. The show spectacular includes Champagne on arrival and 3 courses in a share-style banquet for $89 per person.

The Birdcage Sydney will officially launch on Saturday 14th April. The extravaganza will showcase weekly, every Saturday and tickets will be available via their website www.thebirdcagesydney.com.au
