Special occasions are to be celebrated at special venues in very special company and as such, this is not our standard article. I am often asked if publishing Gourmantic for six and a half years has changed our lives in any way. The reality is, when you turn what you love into work, it takes away some of the personal pleasures you’ve always enjoyed.

Interior and Bar
Suffice to say that dining at Pilu at Freshwater was an exemplary experience. From the booking, to arrival, the service and the food which was simply savoured in enjoyment as well as the little surprising touches at the end.
