Located along Grosvenor Street near Woodland Kitchen & Bar, the casual venue is about bringing street food to the table in a relaxed and convivial setting at affordable prices.

The menu at Italian Street Kitchen starts with a selection of antipasti. Think Salami Board ($18) with prosciutto, salami casalingo, mortadella, bresaola with Parmesan, mixed artisan olives and rosemary focaccia, Calamari ($12) flour dusted and fried, served with fresh lemon and aioli and Arancini ($2.50 ea) of roasted pumpkin, smoked provolone, Parmesan, thyme and panko crumb.

Primi include Buffalo Margherita ($14) pizza with buffalo mozzarella, Parmesan and basil, Rigatoni Amatriciana ($15) with pork cheek, pecorino cheese, cherry tomato in Napoli sauce and Oven Baked Gnocchi ($15), made of semolina baked in bechamel and Napoli sauce with Parmesan, buffalo mozzarella and basil.

From secondi or the more substantial dishes, the Wood-fired Pork ($17) is roasted Roman pork belly and comes served with a rocket ($8) and radicchio salads ($8). The Tiramisu ($9) is the pick of the desserts and there’s Crema Frittata ($9), Italian custard cream, fried and dusted with icing sugar served with chocolate ice cream.

Italian Street Kitchen is about unpretentious Italian food in a casual setting. The vibe is buzzy and loud, and tables can be too close together for comfort. Take a few friends and have a night out with affordable food, wine on tap and Italian aperitivi.
