Coogee Pavilion Rooftop celebrated its first birthday last night, albeit a little early. Not even the wet and windy weather could deter people as they arrived to join the festivities with a array of drinks available and a large selection of Mediterranean-influenced food to keep the hunger at bay.

Birthday Hostesses
So that there was no mistaking that this was a party, befeathered hostesses greeted guests as they arrived.
Absolut Vodka Cocktail
While the tea pot and glass may invoke Turkey, the cocktail of Absolut Vodka was light, floral and refreshing.
Veuve Clicquot Rich
Launched mid-year, Veuve Clicquot Rich is a sweeter style champagne which is designed to be mixed. Guests were served a cocktail on ice with birthday goers having a choice of pineapple, grapefruit, celery or peppers to highlight the champagne flavour profiles.
While Coogee Rooftop has celebrated its first birthday, Merivale continues to look forward and has recently announced that seven new venues are set to open by February 2016 with J&M, a whisky bar in the Angel Hotel and The Paddington set to open their doors in the coming weeks. We’ll be bringing you more information soon about these new food, drink and cocktail venues.
