Rover Brew RPA at The Wild Rover, Surry Hills

Today August 1, 2014 is International Beer Day and what better way to celebrate than with drinking a local craft beer.

The Wild Rover in Surry Hills has made its own brew and it’s now available on tap. Rover Brew RPA is a collaboration between the Three Rovers – Mikey Lowe, Mitch Oldfield and Cian Stafford – and Batch Brewing Company in Marrickville. The RPA is their first beer and you can expect to see more collaborative brews in the future.

The Rye Pale Ale is an approachable and sessionable brew, crisp and fresh on the palate, not too heavy on the hops with a lingering spicy finish. Served in a tankard, the beer holds its head and is full on flavour.
