Call it an iconic dish if you may. Live Pippies in XO Sauce is a specialty dish at Golden Century seafood restaurant in Sydney’s Haymarket.

The dish is sold at market rates and the plump, juicy pippies come doused with a thick, tasty sauce topped with chilli and shallots. Ask for fried vermicelli that sit beneath the pippies. They soak up the delicious XO sauce.
