The Paddo Inn Bar & Grill has launched with a revamped dining room with Matt Moran returning to the first professional kitchen that he has worked in over 20 years ago.
Moran is overseeing the Grill at the Paddo Inn which launched seven months ago and has since changed the food offering from fine dining to a casual grill after listening to what the locals wanted.
Head chef Laura Barratto has joined the Paddo Inn from Chiswick at The Gallery and the menu showcases Australian beef and seafood with seasonal ingredients. Menu items include some of Australia’s best beef producers including: Rangers Valley MS5 rump cap; Darling Downs scotch fillet from Queensland and Jacks Creek MSB2 T-bone from New South Wales. Other menu highlights include snapper with greens and verjuice; Berkshire pork cutlet, charred cabbage, apple sauce and from the new raw section; salmon gravlax and steak tartare.
The Paddington Inn located on the corner of Oxford and William Street, was the first pub in Paddington built in 1814 and purchased by Solotel in 1986.
The front bar is open for lunch and dinner, seven days a week serving a selection of dishes from the grill, salads, sandwiches and burgers.
Paddo Inn Bar & Grill is open for lunch Friday, Saturday & Sunday and dinner Monday to Sunday.
