A First Look at Manly Greenhouse Opening This Weekend

Manly Greenhouse Rooftop and Greenhouse will open this Friday 7 September, with the Grill restaurant to follow in October.

Manly Greenhouse

Opening this weekend, Manly Greenhouse, the three-story beachfront bar and restaurant, will be unveiled in two stages starting with the street level Greenhouse and Rooftop this Friday while The Grill restaurant, positioned between the Greenhouse and Rooftop, will follow in October.

Manly Greenhouse

The Greenhouse will feature a menu of contemporary Italian dishes and pizzas, hand rolled and cooked in a woodfired oven. Rowan Vidler will head up the drinks team, bringing with him experience from the bars of 4 Pines, PS40 and Lobo Plantation. Cocktails will carry over the theme, with highlights on tap including an Aperol Spritz and Bulletproof Espresso Martini. There will also be pre-batched classics such as a Negroni or Café Frizzante, made with vermouth, Campari, sparkling water and cold brew. Wines will also be available via tap, including a chilled Dolcetto, alongside an extensive list championing Australian vineyards and a selection of Italian varieties.

Manly Greenhouse

The middle level will house the Grill restaurant with a menu centred around a charcoal grill and a wine list by Lo-Fi Wines co-founder James Audas (Noma, Tetsuya’s) led by natural varieties.

Manly Greenhouse

The Rooftop offers panoramic views of the beachfront and Manly’s signature pines. The bar, framed by hanging plants and an indoor cloud tree, will deliver bespoke cocktails, and an edit of the downstairs menu, designed to be enjoyed by the sea.
