Buns and Balls

What was formerly Concrete Blonde then the short-lived Janus has been reborn as Buns and Balls, a new burger and meatball joint that pays homage to the beach and street culture of Sydney with rustic timber finishes, vibrant graffiti art, neon lighting and vast outdoor seating. Rushcutters

Rushcutters, the latest venture by the Keystone Group has opened on Monday 28 October. Occupying the former site of Neild Avenue, the venue is a collaboration with chef, Martin Boetz and will see a a Northern European influenced meny with hearty German breads paired with modern tastings. 10 Neild Avenue, Rushcutters Bay www.rushcutters.com.au

A Tavola Bondi

Darlinghurst’s A Tavola has recently launched a restaurant in Bondi Beach with a menu philosophy that centres on a consigli (specials) board that changes daily. 61 Hall Street Bondi 2026 www.atavola.com.au

Banrock Station Red Moscato

Banrock Station have released their Red Moscato, a sweet and lightly spritzed wine with ripe flavours of juicy cherry, sweet berry balanced with a fresh acid finish. The ruby red wine is a good match for barbeque meats, summer salads and cheese platters. The eco-focussed wine label supports environmental projects around the world which makes it even sweeter. $8.99 RRP

Rekorderlig Apple Guava

Rekorderlig Cider have released a new flavour for summer. Rekorderlig Apple-Guava Cider is a refreshing drink and best served over ice with a wedge of lime.

Spring Street Social

New, small bar and restaurant, Spring Street Social is inspired by the golden age of cure-all elixirs and takes you back to a time of rustic chemists and homespun apothecaries.
