Moutai, China’s luxury spirit has revealed their top ten ‘Enter The Dragon’ cocktail competition finalists at an industry party at Handpicked Wines Cellar Door in Sydney last night.
Running for the second time, Enter The Dragon competition has broadened its scope to include both Australian and New Zealand bartenders. Competitors were also tasked with using Australian native flavours in their cocktail creations using Moutai.
The top 10 finalists are:
Kevin Peters – Garden State Hotel, VIC
Jonothan Carr – Door Knock, NSW
Joe Sinagra – Halford, WA
Quynh Van Nguyen – Charlie Parker’s, NSW
Tom Kearney – Mechanics Institute, WA
Phillip Weber – El Grotto, WA
Ray Letoa – Roxy Cinema, NZ
Jack Krzywdzinski – The 18th Amendment, VIC
Thomas Egan – New Gold Mountain, VIC
Benjamin Parton – The Barlow Room, SA
The finals will be held on Monday 13 November 2017 at QT Melbourne, where one lucky bartender will become the next Moutai master and will win a trip to China.
