Seedlip

Seedlip is a non-alcoholic spirit that is calorie free, sugar and sweetener free. Its mission is to solve the dilemma of ‘What to Drink when you’re Not Drinking’. It takes six weeks to produce a bottle, the result of cold extraction, distillation, removal of the the alcohol content and collection of the distillate.

The product has enjoyed high acclaim since it launched in 2015 and has been championed by some of the world’s most celebrated Michelin starred chefs and award-winning bartenders including The Fat Duck, The Ledbury, Dandelyan and The American Bar at The Savoy, Eleven Madison Park, and Dead Rabbit, named the World’s Best Bar at 2016 World’s Best Bars.

Seedlip Founder Ben Branson with The Art of Distillation at Charlie Parker’s

Seedlip is the brain child of Founder Ben Branson. The spirit’s history goes back goes back to the 17th century when Branson’s began farming and a book named The Art of Distillation which was published in 1651, with forgotten copper-stilled, non-alcoholic
remedies. You can read my interview with Ben Branson, Founder of Seedlip at our sister website Cocktails & Bars.

Seedlip Garden & Tonic

Seedlip is available in two expressions. Seedlip Garden 108 captures the essence of the English countryside with sophisticated top notes of the handpicked peas and hay from Ben Branson’s family farm in Lincolnshire. The favour profile has a bright herbal base note of spearmint, rosemary and thyme.

Seedlip
Seedlip Spice & Tonic

Seedlip Spice 94 is the original expression, an aromatic liquid with marked spice mainly allspice (pimento) berries and cardamom along with top notes of lemon and grapefruit peel) and bitter notes from oak and cascarilla.

Both spirits are best served with tonic or as the base for a martini or sour style non-alcoholic cocktails.
