This month’s round up of new restaurants and bars for May 2016.
- Chef and restaurateur David Thompson’s Long Chim is set to open mid-August in a former storage basement underneath 10-14 Martin Place on Angel Place in Sydney’s CBD.
- Salmon & Bear is expanding to Newtown in June and will be located at 226 King Street, Newtown.
- Banksii, a new restaurant and bar by the Bar H team is opening in September at Barangaroo with over forty vermouths including Maidenii which will be poured on tap exclusively. Barangaroo, Sydney

- The team behind Pub Life Kitchen has opened their second venue at the Ruby L’otel in Rozelle. PLK Rozelle is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week with rotating specials, seven nights a week. 68 Victoria Road, Rozelle
- Harvest Bar is opening on Thursday May 12 upstairs at the Majestic Theatre, above the existing Majestic Harvest restaurant and market place in Petersham.
