2. Seared Blue Mackerel at Moxhe

Seared Blue Mackerel, Soft Egg, Beetroot, Daikon at Moxhe in Bronte.

3 Pappardelle at Big Poppa’s

Hand Cut Pappardelle with lamb shoulder ragu and Parmigiano-Reggiano at Big Poppa’s in Darlinghurst.

4. Full Moon Prawn Curry at Mekong

Steamed coconut with tiger prawn, whole egg, coconut cream, basil and coconut milk at Mekong in Chippendale.

5. Shrimp and Grits at Harpoon Harry

Shrimp and Grits with spicy prawns, Spanish sausage, prawn bisque with hot pepper sauce at Harpoon Harry in Surry Hills. (sadly, this venue has since swapped Chef Morgan McGlone’s Southern cuisine for burgers)

6. Venison at Norsk Dor

Venison three ways with Root Vegetable, Fennel, Berry and Carrot at Norsk Dor in Sydney CBD.

7. Darlo Country Club Steak Tartare
